I'm heading down to Philly this weekend. I'll be trying to meet up with a couple of hunting buddies tonight. Any UJers in the area looking to swap some stories over a beer or two? PM me if interested.

I'd love to but I'm heading up north on Saturday to scare some fish in puddles that used to be cricks!
If your bringing your pup, we could meet up Sunday morning and train. I've got a cocker hunt test on the 28th.

Tony Lukes, Pats or Ginos, are a good choice for a cheesesteak.
if you want a grt Italian rest, try Spassos on Front between Market and Chestnut in Old City. Tremendous!!
For some real fun, wander over to South St! you are in a good location for all this stuff.
With all the warm weather, there ought to be some real sites out.
Too many games for me to help you out, sorry.

Headed to the capital of Flatlanders huh? Though a lot of them down there are from Jersey anyhow, same diff It is a very noble cause you are going there for.
Good luck, and if you don't do the cheesteak your missing out big time! You've to go a bit further North to get some good shoofly pie though. Have a feeling that Polecat could direct you to some decent eats around there too. When I used to run Navy applicants to the Federal Building downtown there was a hot dog stand which had chili dogs to die for. Eating them in whites was always a challenge.
