One of my friends has an in-law whos father died recently. He has nothing to do with guns or shooting and wants to sell what is in the estate. He has a modle 58 in 16 Ga and is asking $325. I have not seen this gun, but based on the condition of the 20 Ga 1100 that my friend bought before he died, I suspect tht this one will be a closet queen.

Anybody know much about this gun?

Might want to pm Caleb,  he just got one. Also, check what they are selling for on gunbroker and blue book.

If it is high condition as you say, I would think that a very fair price for a gas auto, engraved reciever, 16ga vintage gun, especially if it has a usable choke ,IC or Mod. and a 26-28"barrel. Scoop it up.

$325 is fair for a mint or near-mint field model based on market prices, a good deal based on the quality of the gun, and an excellent deal in comparison to most modern autos.

"Shooters" seem to go in the $200-300 range, and the high grade guns like the ADL and BDL seem to fetch $450-600 in good shape.
