well, it shoots straight. I wanted to get it onto paper or clays first, but with the snow we've been having there hasn't been a chance. So since tonight was a clear sky I figured the shooting would be slow and an semi-auto no advantage. So I took the new gun to see what it could do. I'm glad I didn't pattern it since it shoots great. Never know what I'd have found with the double full chokes that would have put me off shooting it. The shooting wasn't fantastic tonight (actually a little slow) but 3 birds on the first 4 shots didn't care. Whether it is the full choke or the better fit (and thus shooting where I point) it was crushing the birds pretty well. There was no flutter on the ground, just dead birds. I'll still put it on paper and see what I'm working with, but so far so good.
And man is it smooth. Opening the barrels with two spent cartridges is silky smooth and easy and the ejection is perfect. Pretty sweet gun.
Thanks Rick
