We are sorely lacking a Bloody Mary recipe for xxxx camp, vodka and spicy v8 just doesn't do it any more. So who has a super kickass recipe they want to share?

V8 is fine and I like it, however Clamatoe mixed in is much nicer.
Jigger Vodka (chilled if possible) 1/2C Calmatoe/V8 mixed to taste. I like about 70/30 1/2 Tbs Horseradish (to taste) Lemon juice (one lemon or about 1/4C) Worcestershire (few dashes) Tabasco (as you like, 3 or more is best) Celery salt (1/2tsp) Cracked blk pepper.
Add a bit of sherry to give depth.
Lime wedge, or green onion, or celery stalk if you are into that.

Try the V8 spicy. Think it was made just for bloody mary.

Off the shelf bottled mix called Zing Zang. Add only horseradish to taste, celery stalk and a spanish queen olive.........dandy libation.

I've been doing some sampling, I found this one that I like (just putting it here so I don't forget it). The orange vodka was a good addition (stolen idea from Hell's Kitchen).
I might try adding some clamato to it, maybe reduce the worchester a bit, it was a little overpowering.
1 bottle of v8 spicy 1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper 1 pinch of salt 1/3 cup Crystal Hot Sauce 1 T ground horseraddish 1/4 cup Worchester Sauce 1 tsp dehydrated onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Orange Infused Vodka

All the above are good, but to really top it off, add a few pickles in the mix, along with the olives. I dont touch any of the "fruit" until the drink is done. I still struggle to figure out what I like better, the drink, or the fruit at the end!!

I like to use straight clam juice then spicey V8. It's best if you mix up the ingredients less the vodka and let it sit overnite.
